Umoja Centre is proud to be a partner for project J602 Umoja Centre with Global Development Group (ABN 57 102 400 993), an Australian Non Government Organisation [NGO] carrying out quality humanitarian aid & development projects with approved partners and providing aid to relieve poverty and provide long term solutions. Global Development Group takes responsibility of the project according to AusAID rules, providing a governance role and assisting in the areas of planning, monitoring, evaluating and auditing to ensure that the projects are carried out to Australian requirements. Receipts for donations to this approved aid and development project will be issued by Global Development Group for Project J602 Umoja Centre. The Umoja Centre is always looking for skilled volunteers. If you have a skill to share please contact us to discuss how and when you can help.
At the moment we are particularly keen to hear from teachers of English or Computer Skills, there is also plenty of work to do in the office.
Umoja overseas
There are Umoja charities registered in the UK and Australia who are committed to raising funds for the Umoja Centre.
They need help to run fundraising events and to spread the word about what Umoja is achieving.
